Board of Directors

Richard J Barber, AIF®, AAMS®, CMFC®, Director

RJ is the Director of the Binghamton Investment Fund and Zurack Trading Room. He also serves as a Financial Advisor at Lesko Financial Services. Formerly, he served private clients as a Wealth Management Advisor & Financial Planner for Visions Investment Services, a division of Visions FCU, as well as is the Chairman of the Visions Investment Services Community Impact Fund. RJ has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and maintains numerous securities registrations, insurance licenses, and professional designations from across the industry.

Lauren Levine, Equities Portfolio Manager

Lauren is the Equities Portfolio Manager of the Binghamton Investment Fund. Previously, she was the Sector Head of the Consumer Discretionary Sector. She is a senior studying Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems, with a minor in Education. She is also the Executive Vice President of Women in Finance. She has held internships with Jefferies in Equity Research and Breckinridge Capital Advisors in their Municipal Credit Research division, along with participating in the Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program. This past summer, she interned in Equity Research at Morgan Stanley. She will be returning full-time after graduation. Lauren enjoys working out, playing volleyball, and listening to podcasts.

Adrian Ng, Alternatives Portfolio Manager

Adrian is the Alternatives Portfolio Manager of the Binghamton Investment Fund. Previously, he was the Sector Head of the Financials Sector. He is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Math. He has held an internship in Investment Banking at CohnReznick Capital. This past summer, he interned in Investment Banking at Guggenheim Partners in the Structured Product Origination group. He will be returning full-time after graduation. In his free time, Adrian enjoys working out, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.

Adam Kawalek, Board of Directors

Adam is a member of the Board of Directors for the Investment Fund. Previously, he served as the Sector Head of the Communication Services Sector. He is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. He is President of the Finance Society and Senior Vice President of the Dean’s Mentoring Program. He has held internships within Equity Research at Jefferies covering Technology, Media, and Telecom within Indian markets as well as in Venture Capital at Newlin Ventures. This past summer, he interned in Investment Banking at Perella Weinberg Partners. He will be joining Investment Banking at Houlihan Lokey full-time after graduation. His interests include camping, classic rock, Game of Thrones, hiking, Marvel, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and tennis.

Ryan Levine, Board of Directors

Ryan is a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he served as the Sector Head of the Technology Sector. He is a senior double majoring in Finance and Philosophy, Politics, and Law. Ryan has held internships with Jefferies Equity Research on their Consumer Health team and BubbleTable, a restaurant booking startup, as a Strategy Development Intern. This past summer, he interned in Equity Research at Jefferies. He will be returning full-time after graduation. His interests include tennis, podcasts, and the New York Giants.

Phil Vattes, Board of Directors

Phil is a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he served as the Sector Head of the Energy Sector. He is a senior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. He has held an internship at Phoenix Financial Services where he helped with Private Equity deals and clients. This past summer, he interned at Nomura as a Finance Analyst. He will be returning full-time after graduation. His interests include working out, playing soccer, and hanging out with friends.

Katie Bennorth, Board of Directors

Katie is a member of the Board of Directors and is the Sector Head of the Healthcare Sector. She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems, with a minor in History. Katie is the President of the PwC Scholars program. She has held internships in Equity Research with Jefferies covering Restaurants and at Goldman Sachs as a Transaction Banking Analyst. She will be joining Equity Research at Morgan Stanley next summer. She has previously studied abroad at The London School of Economics and enjoys Formula One, volleyball, and baking. 

Max Grossberg, Board of Directors

Max is a member of the Board of Directors for the Investment Fund. Previously, he served as the Sector Head of the Utilities and Renewables Sector. He is a senior studying Accounting with a concentration in Finance. He has held an internship at Leviton, an electrical engineering firm, with their Project Management Team. This past summer, he interned at RBC Capital Markets in their FICC Origination Division. His interests include the New York Yankees, New York Giants, NBA Basketball, volunteering, and trying new foods.

Bethany Goldstein, Board of Directors

Bethany is a member of the Board of Directors and is the Sector Head of the Household & Personal Products Sector. She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics. She is on the Executive Board for Women in Finance. She has held an internship in Corporate Finance at Prudential Financial. She will be joining Houlihan Lokey's Private Funds group next summer. Her interests include concerts, traveling, and movies.

Jack Margolius, Board of Directors

Jack is a member of the Board of Directors and is the Fixed Income Sector Head within the Alternatives sleeve. He is a junior, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He has held internships with Argo Partners in Sales & Trading, Hedgeye Risk Management, and Jefferies Equity Research where he covered Gaming, Lodging. He will be joining Barclays Equity Research next summer. Jack’s interests include hockey, skiing, and golf.

 
 

Sector Heads

Caitlin McMahon, Communication Services

Caitlin is the Sector Head of the Communication Services Sector. She is a junior majoring in Accounting with a concentration in Finance. She is also the Vice President of Internal Development for the Finance Society. She has held internships in Equity Research at Jefferies with the ESG team and in Accounting at Legrand North America. She will be joining Investment Banking at Evercore next summer in the Equity Capital Markets group. Her interests include crocheting, hiking, and Survivor.

Emily Milone, Consumer Discretionary

Emily is the Sector Head of the Consumer Discretionary Sector. She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. She is the Vice President of Student Affairs for the Finance Society. She has held internships in Equity Research at Jefferies covering Interactive Entertainment and in Sales at Schroders. She will be joining Sales & Trading at Bank of America next summer. Her interests include reading, concerts, and Marvel.

Sarah McKay, Consumer Staples: Food & Beverage

Sarah is the Sector Head of the Food & Beverage Sector. She is a senior getting her Masters of Business Administration in Finance. She is the Grad TA for Finance 311, a Women in Finance Mentor, and Entrepreneurial Finance Independent Researcher. She has held an internship under the CFO in the Finance Department of her local hospital. This summer, she will be interning in Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs in the Executive Financial Management group. She will be returning full-time after graduation. Her interests include Harry Styles, Formula One Racing, traveling, music, and tennis.

Bethany Goldstein, Consumer Staples: Household & Personal Products

Bethany is the Sector Head of the Household & Personal Products Sector and is a member of the Board of Directors. She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics. She is on the Executive Board for Women in Finance. Jacy Schneider, Energy

Jacy is the Sector Head of the Energy Sector. He is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. He is the Vice President of Markets Recruiting for the Finance Society and the Development Vice President of the Transformational Leaders Program. He has held an internship in Equity Research at Jefferies covering Machinery and Industrials. He will be joining Equity Research at Barclays next summer. His interests include powerlifting, movies, filmmaking, swimming, and traveling.

Aidan Milroy, Financials

Aidan is the Sector Head of the Financials Sector. He is a junior majoring in Economics, specializing in Financial Economics. He has held an internship in Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley in the Nagarajan Group. He will be returning to Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley next summer. His interests include golf, hiking, traveling, movies, and his dog.

She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems, with a minor in History. Katie is the President of the PwC Scholars program. Jack is the Sector Head of the Industrials Sector. He is a junior majoring in Accounting and Finance, with a minor in History. He is the Vice President of Investment Banking Recruiting for the Finance Society. He has held internships in Equity Research with Jefferies covering Multi-Industrials, and in Wealth Management with Ameriprise Financial Services. He will be joining Investment Banking at Canaccord Genuity next summer in the Technology group. His interests include weightlifting, cooking, traveling, and the New York Giants.

Jonathan Ngo, Materials

Jonathan is the Sector Head of the Materials Sector. He is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. He is the President of Delta Sigma Pi. He has held internships in Equity Research with Jefferies covering Technology and at Wells Fargo as a Software Engineer. He will be joining Equity Research at Truist next summer. His interests include tennis, guitar, and science fiction novels.

Shayna Nguyen, Real Estate

Shayna is the Sector Head of the Real Estate Sector. She is a junior majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems. She has held an internship in Equity Research at Barclays and participated in the Girls Who Invest Online Intensive Program. She will be joining Equity Research at JPMorgan Chase. Her interests include Legos, hiking, and cooking.

Ryan Reilly, Technology: Hardware

Ryan is the Sector Head of the Hardware Sector. He is a junior studying Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He has held an internship in Private Equity at Taglich Private Equity. This summer, he will be interning in Investment Banking at BNP Paribas. Some of his personal interests include skiing, golf, fitness, baseball, classic rock, and country music. 

James Davide, Technology: Software

James is the Sector Head of the Software Sector. He is a junior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He is is the Vice President of Education for the Finance Society. He has held internships within Equity Research at Jefferies covering Software as well as in Investment Banking at Colebrooke Capital. He will be joining Private Equity at LLR Partners next summer. His interests include poker, Breaking Bad, weightlifting, and the New York Jets.

Ethan Agro, Utilities & Renewables

Ethan Agro is the Sector Head of the Utilities & Renewables Sector. He is a junior majoring in Accounting with a concentration in Finance. He will be joining Investment Banking at Evercore next summer in the Equity Capital Markets group. His interests include basketball, baseball, Italian, and Seinfeld
