2019-2020 CFA CHALLENGE

The Binghamton team placed first out of 28 teams in the CFA Institute Research Challenge. The team analyzed and assigned a hold rating on Merck & Co. (NYSE:MRK), a global pharmaceutical company. The team won the New York region and advanced to the Round of Americas where they competed with teams from all over the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Click here to view their presentation.

2019 Bloomberg Trading Challenge

The Binghamton team placed first in the Russell 3000 Growth Index over the course of the 10-week Bloomberg Trading Challenge, achieving a 15.65% portfolio return. The team was honored to be one of seven finalist teams from a pool of 250+ teams across 200 universities to present their trade ideas at Bloomberg’s office in NYC.

2019 Ithaca College Analyst Showdown

The Binghamton team placed first in the 2nd Annual Ithaca College Showdown Challenge for their analysis and sell rating on Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ: KHC). The team was also awarded Best Presentation for the competition.

2016 University of Michigan Undergraduate investment conference

The Binghamton team placed first out of 27 teams in the Ross School of Business's largest investment competition. The team pitched short GATX (NYSE: GATX), which is a railcar lessor. Visit this Forbes article for more information on their victory.

2015-2016 CFA Challenge

The Binghamton team placed first out of 21 teams in the NYSSA CFA Institute Research Challenge. The team pitched short First Republic Bank (NYSE: FRC), a regional bank focused in San Francisco.
