M&A Case Competition
Hosted by the Finance Society, the M&A Case Competition is a case analysis competition based on mergers and acquisitions cases from Harvard Business School.
This case competition is extremely valuable to underclassmen who would like to learn business strategy and valuation techniques. In conjunction with this competition, the Finance Society runs workshops covering discounted cash flow valuation, comparable companies analysis, precedent transactions analysis, accretion/dilution, and qualitative analysis of mergers and acquisitions. There are no prerequisites for this competition, and we will teach you everything you need to know to perform this analysis.
This competition is held in the fall of each academic year, and the finals of the competition have previously been hosted at Bank of America’s offices in New York City. If you have any questions about this competition, feel free to reach out to us at bingfinancesociety@gmail.com.
